Randy Orton is going to face Gunther for the World Heavyweight championship at Bash of Berlin. Winning the title would give him his 15th WWE World title run. This will be the second time Orton would be facing Gunther after getting defeated controversially at King of the Ring finals.

1. To Reclaim His Top Spot and End his Losing Streak
Since Orton’s return at Survivor Series 2023, his WWE run has been underwhelming. He has lost all the matches in Premium Live Events. He has been underutilized by WWE and has been taken for granted. Winning the title would give him a fresh start as a champion and also end his losing streak. It has been four years since Orton last held a title. It would also give fans what they have been eagerly waiting for.

2. To Carry on His feud with Gunther
Orton’s previous match against Gunther ended controversially at the King of the Ring finals, leaving unfinished business. A second loss to Gunther could spell the end of Orton’s dreams for his 15th WWE world title. His disappointing run on Smackdown would be the last thing left for him.
Hence, Orton must win the title which would also give a chance to Gunther to once again reclaim his title. This would elevate both the superstars and continue their feud, considering they have good chemistry with each other.

Orton winning the title would give him new opponents for fresh rivalries as he would be drafted to Raw. A feud with Seth Rollins, Finn Balor, Drew McIntyre, etc. would be worth watching.
