Elijah, better known to as Elias, has expressed his desire to return to WWE where he gained fame as the creator of the catchphrase “WWE stands for Walk With Elias.” During his WWE tenure from 2014 to 2023, Elias entertained fans as a guitar-playing heel and even showcased his skills by playing his own fictional brother, Ezekiel.

His segments, which often featured musical performances interrupted by huge stars like John Cena and The Undertaker, were always a delight to fans. Despite his release from WWE in 2023, he has expressed his desire to return and continue his journey in the company.

In a recent virtual signing with K & S WrestleFest, Elias reflected on his time in WWE, calling it “awesome” and filled with unforgettable moments. Speaking about his experience, he said :

“I thought it was awesome, a lot of great stuff. I had a lot of incredible, very memorable moments for me personally and probably for a lot of people. I loved it. Elias can and could and should do so much more in WWE. They only scratched the surface with my capabilities. I had a lot of great moments, some incredible guys to go up against.”

Elias further revealed that he draws inspiration from stars like Drew McIntyre and Carlito, who left WWE only to return stronger and more impactful years later. He hopes to follow in their footsteps and reignite his career in WWE.

“I’d love that. Look, you see how the business works by now. You could be gone, Carlito was gone for ten years, look at Drew [McIntyre]. These things happen, for sure. Everybody has their own little story. I’m not writing it off. It’s not an immediate, man, I gotta do that. But if the opportunities come, sure, we’ll see.”

While Elias, now wrestling under his real name Elijah in independent promotions, has no confirmed plans with WWE, his optimism about returning is clear. He remains open to the idea of reuniting with the company where he built his legacy, saying, “I’m not writing it off. I would love to go back.”
