Seth Rollins Indian Crowd

Remember When Seth Rollins Called the Indian Crowd “Most Electric”?

WWE superstar, Seth Rollins, made headlines last year when he appeared on WWE’s The Bump and shared his experience of wrestling in India at WWE Superstar Spectacle. The event took place in India on September 8, 2023, and was a massive success for WWE. In the main event, Seth Rollins and John Cena teamed up to defeat Imperium in a thrilling tag team match.

During his appearance on The Bump, Seth Rollins revealed that he covered a total of 50 hours of air travel to make it to India and return back. Remarkably, he had spent less than 24 hours on the ground before returning to the United States. Despite the exhausting and hectic journey, Rollins expressed how the experience was worth it, describing the Indian crowd as “the most electric” he had ever encountered.

“That was beautiful. That was great. Getting to India and back was 50 hours in the air. It was a lot of travel and we were there on the ground for less than 24 hours. So it was a lot of travel for one show. A lot of people asked me, ‘How was it? What was it like for you?’ And I said, if the crowd wasn’t the most electric crowd I’ve ever been in front of, I wouldn’t consider going back because of the travel schedule for one show. But they made it so worth it. It was truly an incredible experience.” Rollins stated.

Rollins mentioned that Cena’s entrance received “the loudest reaction” he had ever heard, even comparing the atmosphere at the Superstar Spectacle to that of a stadium packed with 75,000 fans. He was also surprised by the fans’ enthusiasm, recalling how they “fought for Cena’s T-shirt”.

“They’re singing my song, they start chanting for Cena, I’m in the ring when John’s music hit — I’m getting goosebumps just talking about it — it was the loudest reaction I’ve ever heard. I’m talking — I’ve been in front of full stadiums packed out, 75,000 people. This place was rabid. When he threw his shirt into the crowd, there was a fight over his t-shirt. It was unbelievable.” Rollins stated.
